The Lackawanna Newton Little League is a youth program based at Hillside Park in Andover Township and Memory Park in Newton, New Jersey. We typically have between 150 and 200 players,  who live in the sending districts of Andover Township, Andover Boro, Green Township and Newton. Our teams play at Hillside Park in Andover Township, Wesley Field in Green Township and Memory Park in Newton. We have many active coaches with baseball experience in our league, which ensures that all players receive quality instruction. 

We divide the players into five divisions based on age and ability. T-Ballers are age 5-6 year olds, Rookies are 7-8  year olds, Minors are 9-12 year olds , Majors are 10-12 year olds( having been accepted at tryouts), and Juniors are 13-14 year olds. Each division and team has their own practice schedule and field  where practices and games are held. Registration is held in late January and will run until March 12.  We encourage everyone to register ASAP to help our volunteers prepare for the season. Tryouts for the Minors and Majors are held in late March. Season opener usually is 3rd week of April and Season will run until Mid June with All Star season to follow.
